Aikido Shudokan operates schools in Thornbury and Oakleigh in Melbourne, and tests are run for both schools every two months, with tests for higher graded students held three times a year. The testing process in martial arts enables men and women to set themselves a goal, improve their fitness and push themselves to the next level.
The times for the all-levels test, to be held on Saturday 27th March 2010 at the Thornbury dojo, is as follows:
8th - 4th Kyu: Briefing 12:30pm, Test 1:00pm
3rd Kyu and above: Briefing 4:00pm, Test 4:30pm
The dojo will be open half an hour before each test for practice. Please make sure you are on the mats before the briefing in a clean dogi.
Aikido Shudokan has been invited to set up a fete stall, with fun childrens aikido activities, at Wales Street Primary School, Thornbury, this Saturday 20th March from 11am - 4pm. There will be competitions, games and prizes so please feel free to drop in and bring any family and friends along to support us.
