Hello everyone,

Seniors
The next Adults test will be held on Sunday the 18th of December. This will be followed by the Christmas party. Please remember to organise your testing partners/uke now.

Please remember to be on the mats in a clean gi on time!
Test times are as follows:

10th Kyu- 4th Kyu Test
• Briefing: 1:00pm
• Test: 1:30pm

3rd Kyu & Above
• Briefing: 4:00pm
• Test: 4:30pm

Please remember as the weather is warming up to keep hydrated and remember to maintain good hygiene. There should always be a basic courtesy of hygiene. You’d figure this would be a given. But apparently, it’s not always, so here are some things that I feel compelled to mention:
• Wash your Gi on a regular basis. You may not need to wash it after every class, but please wash it before it starts to get… ripe.
• Wear deodorant and/or shower/bathe regularly please.

Juniors
Test practice is in full swing. Test booklets are due back this Monday 5th December. Please be sure you have completed the required page and it has been signed by both your teacher and a parent. The Children’s Test will be on the 10th December. Please try and find a testing partner for the grading.

The times are as follows; please remember to be on the mats in a clean gi on time!

Thornbury Dojo
• Briefing: 10:30am
• Test 11:00am

Oakleigh Dojo
• Briefing: 12:30pm
• Test: 1:00pm

After the grading the Children’s Christmas Party will be held at Ivanhoe Aquatic Centre, 170 Waterdale Rd, Ivanhoe from 3pm – 5pm. It will cost $2 entry per person, payable at the dojo front desk. Please bring a plate of food on the day. Parents and siblings welcome!

Have a great week everyone
Osu
