Hani Isac Sensei
4th Dan Yoshinkan Aikido
Hani Isac Sensei began training in Yoshinkan Aikido at Aikido Shudokan in Melbourne in February 1994 and tested for first dan in September 1996. Prior to this, he studied 3 years of Shinkendo under Toshishiro Obata Soke and achieved the level of Santen.
During his Aikido training, Hani Isac Sensei has been responsible for a number of dojos in the Melbourne area, such as Westgate and South Melbourne.
In April 1999, Hani Isac Sensei tested and received his second dan from Terada Kiyoyuki Hanshi and in 2003 he tested for his third dan under Inoue Kyoichi Hanshi.
Recently, following a visit and three-day seminar from Shioda Yasuhisa Kancho, Hani Isac Sensei tested and was promoted to the level of fourth dan in October 2008.
He currently teaches at the Thornbury dojo in Melbourne.
